Sit and talk to store manager for about 20-30 min in his office. Very friendly and no pressure at all. Saliva drug test. Then discuss about pay. It wasn't hard or anything. Just mostly question about why you want to work here.

Very simple, applied and within a few days received a phone call to come into the store and talk with the department manager, by the end of the interview they offered me a position.

I sat for 2 hours waiting for an interview while others went. They misplaced my folder. It started badly I should have known that working her wouldn't be any more pleasant
I filled out an application for the Bakery department at Publix Supermarkets. They had a building that is separate from their warehouses and corporate offices. It was no more than 2 weeks later they called me to come back for an interview. After my interview I told where to go get a drug screen. When my results came back I was scheduled for orientation with about 15 other new Publix employees.
