In the case study discussion during my latest interview, I want to provide some suggestions for future candidates: 1. Be prepared for a lengthy interview lasting around 2 and a half hours. 2. Expect a substantial number of questions, approximately 30 to 40 in total. 3. It's important to answer all the questions comprehensively, as the selection process seems to be stringent, and only candidates who answer all the questions correctly are chosen. Even answering 80% of the questions may lead to rejection. Before attending the interview, I took the time to read reviews from other candidates who had gone through the case study discussion, and most of them shared negative experiences. Despite that, I decided to proceed with the interview. However, I found that the case study preparation was unnecessary as no questions were asked about it at all. The interviewer, with over 20 years of experience, focused on a wide range of technologies, such as Kafka, Redis, Elastic Search, databases, Java, Spring, Angular, and microservices, but only from the topics/concepts they were familiar with. If you choose to go ahead with this interview, I wish you the best of luck. Just be prepared to face a broad array of questions from various technologies.
