The interview process was very positive; it all started when I called a former co-worker about the MDS position availability. I went to the facility the following week after I had learned that the job was open to fill out an application form and meet the Director of Nursing for an interview. The interview with the DON, Ms. Nikki, and Kamiru, ADON, was a great conversation. I was able to express my interest and determination in being a part of their strong and growing team by using all my knowledge, skills, and experiences as a new MDS-RN. THe interview was very helpful in clarifying the roles and responsibilities of an MDS-RN within the nursing team. I appreciate the clear communication shared during the interview, and for the opportunity. I am looking forward to hearing about the next steps in the hiring process.
