The interview process was very long and drawn out. I was initially asked to come in to the office for 2 interviews. They went pretty well and I was told I would hear back from them soon. After two weeks of not hearing back from Prudential I had pretty much accepted the fact that I was not going to get the Internship, but then a week later (3 weeks after my first two interviews) I received a phone call asking me to come in for 2 more interviews! So I went in for those and they went pretty good too and a few days later I received a phone call telling me I got the job. I do not know why they take so long to get back to candidates, but they seem to do this with all their intern candidates. I have friends that are applying for internships for this summer and it is taking Prudential just as long to get back to them. All 4 interviews were pretty much the same, asking about work history and extracurriculars and a few behavioral questions but nothing too challenging.
Advice for interview candidates for internships: If you do not have any relevant work experience stress the fact that you are eager to learn and that you are a quick learner. Also, Prudential loves diversity so if you have a diverse background make sure to bring that up and how your culture/race/religion is important to you.
