I applied for a Full stack Laravel developer position at Proxify. I got an interview within a few days. The interview went very well. I was first introduced to Proxify then I talked about my background and skills. I did not set any restrictions on terms as I was willing to accept part time or full time jobs. I set a very low hourly rate and indicated that I was available immediately. By the end of the interview, I was told that I will next have a technical interview then a test but the next day, I received an email stating "Unfortunately, on this occasion, your profile did not meet our requirements." without any details neither valid arguments as of why I was rejected. I believe it is totally fair to reject an application for whatever reason. However, deciding of a candidate's skills without allowing them to talk technical is absurd. Proxify seems promising but for my case, it was unfortunately a disappointing experience.
