The most bizarre interview process of my life. Submitted an application, received a text message confirming, and completed some chatbot questions. Was then scheduled for a virtual interview with the hiring manager. I showed up 5 minutes early and waited 25 minutes. Hiring manager never showed up. Emailed the recruiter and was asked to reschedule, which I did (going against my instincts). Hiring manager showed up this time (5 minutes late), mostly talked at me, told me I was a lock for the next round, it would be scheduled in a few days, and to send over some sample work. I sent over sample work the same day, no response. Followed up a few days later, no response. Ghosted. Such a bad look for any company, but especially one as big as Providence.
