It was a 2 day’s interview, the first day I spoke with the CEO, very quick not even 15 min and very impersonal. The second day the interview is held by an account manager. The interview process is okay, however this was not a marketing coordinator position, it is a pyramid scheme. They have a carrier plan based on how many people you approach on store, as you reach the goals you get promoted until you get your own Marketing Company in the end. So if this is not for you, don’t even bother applying for this job!

one quick 15 min interview and then one long hour one the next day. Make the job decription online very different than what the job actually is. They do not give you time to think about the job as they just offer you it at the end and hand you papers to sign. Pyramid scheme.

Applied online and got an email the next day to come in for an interview. Briefly explained the position and asked a few questions, could have easily been done over the phone. Didn’t quite give enough insight into the position so decided to come back when invited for a second interview. Unfortunately the company is set up like a MLM pyramid but instead with a base pay of $12/hr. Seems there’s opportunity to move up but the base pay never changes, all based on more people coming in and building off that and added commission. You are asked to come in with business professional attire only to find that the job entails working in retail stores such as Home Depot wearing their uniform to try to get customers to set up appointments to use the extra services provided by Home Depot (window installation, roofing, etc) the conditions on actually moving up or earning commission are complex and require enticing enough customers to set up appointments on a consistent basis. Plus there’s no added benefits (no healthcare, PTO, etc) and a 6 day work week (40 hrs/wk with unpaid lunch that allows them to work you an extra 5 hours on Saturday). Might be a decent job for a young high school graduate but as a college graduate there’s so many better options out there. In the end I think the second interviewer could see my disinterest and I’m glad I didn’t hear back.
