HR Interview for discussion on compensation review and salary fitment for a change in role at a level significantly higher than the current level in the organization and growth associated with the level

Initial interview and conversations with internal recruiter, then a managing director. MD interview dug deep into my background and experience. However, I never heard back after the MD interview. I followed up to inquire and no response. It was pretty unprofessional to waste a professional’s time without a simple courtesy email stating thanks but no thanks. I’m disappointed I gave them my time.
