The hiring manager was slow to reply to emails. His replies were disjointed and confusing. After seeking much clarification, I finally realized he wanted me to come in for an interview. After interviewing with him, I was then asked to wait for the top leadership in the office. He came in, peppered me with questions, and then left. I got a call the next day saying I got the job. I didn't hear anything else from the hiring manager until I showed up for the first day of work. He had forgotten to email me anything beforehand, so I had to fill out a bunch of paperwork that morning. Not very professional.
