Very prompt and courteous. Also, very clear when answering my questions. My recruiter, who was the same person through my entire interview proceedings, didn't beat around the bush with the hard stuff - like compensation and if there were exceptions to the qualifications required.

As an internal promotion, I went through a series of 3 interviews: Hiring manager, peer panel interview, then VP of sales interview.
You must have a proven track record of success, ability to manage and grow a team on successful future leaders, and develop an employee focused culture.
Although the interview process took about a month from the application, this ensures the right fit for the team and in the organization.

The process was very quick. Applied internally and was contacted by the Sr. Recruiter to schedule an interview with the hiring manager the next day, followed by an interview with the VP. From application to offer was less than 2 weeks.
