Similar to what has been said before: apply on-line, test, phone interview, etc. I got an email saying that I didn't make it to the in-person interview. I think I did ok with the phone interview, 1st interview in years. The HR rep was very nice and gave me some feedback. I sent her an email asking for feedback (after I got the email saying I didn't make the cut) but didn't hear back from her, but I didn't really expect any response. I'm not sure if I didn't pass the interview or the background check (or both). I have some gaps in my resume and some terminations because of some past problems with drugs and alcohol. I was pretty honest and open about everything (probably too open judging from hr rep's feedback), but I figured it was better to say the truth rather than lie and then get disqualified because of the background check. Oh well. Kinda off topic, but if you are in the same situation the HR rep's opinion was that it was ok to say you were fired (or took time off/gaps in work history) due to health/medical reasons and that you have received treatment, etc. Of course, I asked a dozen people (some in recovery some not) prior to this and got a dozen answers. Oh well.

Stars type questions....describe a time when. Pretty boiler-plate. They asked about what I knew about the company, why did I want to work for Progressive. What I thought the salary was. Questions about my resume-salary at other positions. What do you think you would be doing in your job?

So I will admit, the interview process is lengthily but it is all worth it! First I had to pass the assessment, then the video submissions and once I finally passed that I was able to actually connect with the recruiter and just go over what there was to be expected in my upcoming video interview with management. She gave me all of the info as to what were some things that were going to focus on the most ( Time Management & Decision Making ) and to just have some examples already set. I made myself a google doc with different questions and answers (all STAR format based) because the STAR format is how theyu conduct the interviews. But after about a week of getting all of these things done, I had my interview on a Tuesday and was told I would be hearing from the recruiter within a couple of days but was lucky enough to receive a call later that same day and HAPPILY ACCETPED! Good things come to those who wait. The questions I put below aren't the exact ones but they are pretty much the same, they are the answers I used for my interview answers.

Long process, pre-screen, video interview, another interview with leadership. It was definitely a long drawn out process. I have never experienced anything of the sort. If I don’t get an offer I’m not sure I’d ever apply again, it was very intimidating.
It ending up being a waste of time. Before having some submit a video interview, actually take the time to review their resume, to see if they would be a good fit.
