Progressives interview process is like no other interview I’ve ever experienced. I applied early April, received an invitation to complete an assessment and simulation a couple of days later I received an invite to do a virtual interview via HireVue. The HireVue interview is completed on your own time within 6 days from the interview. You are required to answer eight questions in the STAR format. The questions are pretty much situation based so answer them in a short story with a beginning middle and end with a heavy focus on the resolution. A few days after completing this I received an invitation to interview virtually with HR. I scheduled this interview a few days later. Again this interview consisted of situational questions that were required to be answered in the star format. I was given information about the job itself as well as the next steps. The interview lasted an hour and like the HireVue interview was very robotic for t lack of better words. I was informed I’d hear back two weeks from the scheduled interview if selected. A little over a week later after constantly checking my email and the application status I received a PC from a recruiter with an offer. The process itself was pretty nerve racking between the HireVue interview and receiving a contingent offer. I would definitely recommend doing research on the questions they ask and practicing your answers prior to both interviews.
