I saw others had issues in the Roanoke VA office so I thought I would share my horrible experience with them. The interview with Progressive was very long, and a big waste of my time. I filled out an application on their website. Got an email to do a test. A week later received an email to do a virtual interview. The virtual interview was quite possibly the most ridiculous thing I've ever done to get a job with a company. They ask you all kinds of long questions and give you no time to answer and it's not even a live person it's prerecorded! After what I felt was a horrible interview I got an email a week later wanting to setup an in person interview. I interviewed with a man and a lady. The guy was awesome couldn't say anything bad about him! The woman on the other hand made the whole interview a train wreck. The guy that interviewed me was really friendly and took his time to explain everything. The woman that was interviewing with him she just kinda sat there and glared at me the whole time. It was a very distracting interview because I was afraid to make eye contact with the woman. After the interview was finishing up they pretty much dropped hints that I wasn't getting the job. After a few days of waiting the recruiter sent me some canned email that I wasn't selected for the job. I've interviewed with a few companies in my life but never had as bad of an experience as I did at this place. Don't believe what you read on their website because I went in thinking this was going to be a friendly conversation when it ended up being a miserable and very intimidating interview that wasted weeks of my time.
