I initially applied to the Implementation Manager position in November. The process was quick and everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. There was an initial phone screen, then a second call with the hiring manager, and then an onsite with three team leads and managers. I was told the position had been filled directly after my onsite but received amazing marks from all of the interviewers and that I should keep an eye out for next steps as soon as the role opens up again. Although this was frustrating considering the time taken off work and to prepare, I was excited when I was contacted again for essentially the same role (they were reorganizing teams) in January. I was required to interview onsite again (and take another day off work) with entirely different people even though I had received amazing feedback from the team initially. After a week of not receiving any feedback, I followed up only to receive an extremely generic response from the hiring manager explaining they would not be moving forward. Overall, the initial experience was really positive and seamless and I was impressed with the interview process. However, it seems like the hiring team may be pressed to fill large quantities of roles and therefore continues interviewing and stringing interviewees along even when positions have been filled etc. to keep them in the pipeline for future openings. While this is understandable for a large company, please take into consideration the time off work and effort to prepare that your candidates partake in to perform their best at the interview. I don't think I will be applying to any openings in the future.
