I had applied for a job here before like 7 years. Before applying, I had explicitly mentioned my expected salary in my email. They took my technical interview - I passed it, then they called me for practical - I passed that as well. Then they called me again (3rd time) just to tell me that my salary is just fine in my current company and I would not get a higher (the expected) Salary! Bear in mind that I had to take 3 days leave for 3 meeting with them. If they can't afford my expected salary, then they can simply say no even before calling me for an interview, why waste both of our time?
