It was a complete waste of my time. It took them over 2 months just to conduct 3 interviews. They even made me do a writing assessment, which I excelled at. I had to follow up multiple times to find out about “next steps” in the process then ghosted me when it was time to either get an offer or a rejection. After following up the second time, I was told they already decided to hire internally. A company should know whether they plan on hiring internally before posting the position and interviewing outside candidates and wasting their time. I can handle rejection, but I cannot handle the disrespect of my time being wasted.
