The first-round interview with the HR intern was friendly and engaging — she made the conversation feel genuine and respectful. However, my second-round interview with the Director of Analytics/Principal Data Analyst was the complete opposite. The interviewer joined late without any notice, then rescheduled mid-way after 30 minutes of waiting, and once the call finally began, seemed completely disinterested.
I explained my dashboard assignment in detail, but he barely listened or engaged with what I was saying. It felt like he had already made up his mind and was simply rushing to end the call.
The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy was very evident, and the overall experience felt dismissive and disrespectful. It also gave off a biased and insensitive tone, which made the entire interaction uncomfortable. I hope the company takes steps to ensure fair, attentive, and respectful interviews in the future. Also they don't prefer female candidates much its very evident from the tone.
