The Manager of Recruitment was very aggressive over LinkedIn to get me to talk to him. I appreciate that, but he's blown off 3 separate times for phone calls. I am not interested in working here if they can't respect a candidates time that I block off during my work day.
Atypical interview process--A recruiter reached out with the opportunity. There were three rounds of interviewing. First interview with a potential colleague. The second round was a panel phone screen with three individuals. And finally, with the hiring manager. This last round was unique in that the hiring manager started the interview by allowing me to fire away with my questions.
Although I don't think I got the job. I say, "I don't think," because the recruiter went completely GHOST on me. I think most professionals are okay with not being selected for a role or getting unfavorable feedback. However, not hearing back from a recruiter / poor recruiter follow-up is, in my opinion, one of the most unprofessional behaviors ON THE PLANET.
I appreciate the opportunity to have interviewed for the role. However, the lack of recruiter feedback and follow-up was unacceptable. In this case, Mr. recruiter---please be human and consider that candidates are human too.
