      Entrevista

      First, I interviewed with the recruiter. Then, I had a panel-style interview with managers, followed by two additional panel interviews with other managers. After that, I had to complete a one-hour, in-person interview with the same people I had already spoken with over Zoom. In total, this was a six-round interview process that spanned about three weeks, with each round asking essentially the same questions. The entire process was extremely unorganized, with no clear direction on who should be involved in the interviews. After going through all six rounds, I received an automated email from their ATS that read: "Thank you again for your interest in Polsinelli and, specifically, the role of Firm Events Coordinator. We received many resumes regarding this position and, although the hiring team was impressed by your background and experience, we have decided not to move forward with your application at this time. We want to thank you for your time and efforts in speaking with the marketing team. At this time, they have decided to go in a different direction with the role." I understand that not every interview leads to a job offer, but receiving a generic, automated rejection email after such an extensive interview process felt incredibly unprofessional. It was as if I were just another applicant in a mass rejection, despite investing significant time and effort.
