The interview process dragged on unnecessarily long. Initially, I was told they were waiting for more candidates before moving me forward, claiming they "like to have multiple candidates to compare to." However, after enduring a month-long wait following the Excel take-home test, I was informed they were not proceeding with my application. This prolonged delay felt extremely dishonest, as it became evident they were merely stalling for a larger pool of applicants, while I remained in limbo. It would have been far more transparent if they had conveyed their lack of interest from the outset.
