I had an initial phone call with the Talent Acquisition Manager, and then called back for an interview with the hiring manager. The hiring manager seemed a bit disengaged throughout the interview, however it was a fairly standard interview. It has been about six weeks since that interview and I have not heard back. I reached out to the company but no response. This is absolutely not okay. It's unprofessional and just plain cruel that you don't contact candidates of the outcome, particularly in this tough job market. What a complete waste of time it is for candidates who have spent a lot of time preparing and researching your company to hear nothing back. It makes me wonder how you treat your actual employees.
