Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 3 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Pocket Gems

      Entrevista

This is my first time writing review on Glassdoor because I feel that my experience with this company might be helpful To anyone that is interested in applying for any marketing role in this company. || I was approached by their recruiter and invited to apply for the associate product marketing manager role. Initially they would send you a time consuming assignment that took me 4-5 hrs to finish. (If you are super smart it probably takes less time). The next step was to speak to one of the marketing managers. You would be asked questions that have no relevance to the job. For instance, “compare two cars and decide which one you want to buy. “ and “find the break even point” type of questions. later on I was rejected, which was understandable because I didn’t get all the questions right. And I got curious about what type of employees they actually hired thus I decided to go through their employees’ LinkedIn profiles. I was shocked by the fact that 90% of the ppl they hired, at least in the marketing department were all graduated from top tier schools. ( Stanford MBA Wharton MBA, Harvard, Berkeley, Dartmouth, etc). So my suggestion to you is that if you do like gaming industry and has a fancy degree, it doesn’t bother to give it a try. If not, you better stay away because it s gonna be a waste of time!!!

I appreciate your honest feedback and thank you for taking the time to write a response. There is an analytical portion to the interview process for the Product Marketing position and I am sorry if your recruiter didn't provide that context beforehand - we will take that feedback to streamline our process. Regarding the background of the marketing team, while many of them did graduate from the universities you listed, we encourage anyone who is interested in our organization to apply and we hope that they do, so that we can continue to diversify our talent and learn from each other.
