I applied online and received a request to schedule an interview with the person currently in this role a few days later. We chatted via Google Meet and, at the end of the conversation, she said she would definitely be moving me forward to the next round. I followed up a week later and never heard back. 2 weeks later, I received an email that they were still debriefing but that I was still in the running. Then, after another 2 weeks, I got a rejection email. I am perfect for the role so the fact that they ended up not moving me to round 2 is crazy. However, I was going to withdraw anyway because of all of the red flags I learned from the interviewer and the ridiculousness of how long they were taking to make a decision. It sounds like a problematic company and I wish the person who gets the role the best of luck!
