It was an 8 week process in total which consisted of 3 face to face interviews, and several phone calls with their silicon valley office and here in Singapore. There is no HR person in charge so the overall process is really slow and extremely inefficient. It takes on average 2 weeks to schedule the next chat with their senior guys in sunnyvale. Also they seem to value your network more than your ability to actually sell the service. I am certain they would absolutely rather hire someone born with fantastic connections than someone with excellent negotiation skills, so if you’re bad at sales you may not lose out as long as youre well connected to C levels in the corporate world (ask daddy to pull some strings). I thought it was a complete waste of time that they spent 8 weeks interviewing 1 candidate for a junior position.
