Things got complicated when I got to "technical" interview stage - I was interviewed by a senior producer who was still in probation period with the company who stated that they are not QA expert and don't know much about QA - this was red flag number one, how can I be technically questioned about QA, when person questioning me doesn't have the expertise or knowledge? It didn't get better, the interview scheduled for 60 minutes was cut short after 30mins, most of which was spent on introductions and then a few general questions about tooling. That was it. Few days later I receive rejection, which is ok, but leaves a very sour taste as I felt like I was a great candidate for the role, but wasn't given a chance.
