      Entrevista

      I was initially really impressed with Platform Media’s recruitment process. It moved quickly and felt well-organised, I had an HR interview, followed promptly by a CFO/COO interview, then two in-person interviews with key team members, and finally an unexpected fifth interview with one of the CEOs. For the first few weeks, communication was clear and responsive. The team was friendly, open about the company’s scrappy, scale-up nature, and it felt like a genuine opportunity. Unfortunately, after that, the process dragged on far beyond what was promised. Timelines were repeatedly missed, I was told I’d have a final answer on two specific dates, both of which passed with no communication. Replies only came after I followed up, and delays between responses grew longer and longer, to the point it felt like I was being ghosted. It’s now been over six weeks. I’ve accepted by this stage the role isn’t mine, but the lack of closure for such a senior position feels unprofessional and disrespectful of candidates’ time and effort. I understand they are growing quickly and there’s a level of chaos, but if that’s the case, the process should reflect that honestly from the start. Transparency and timely communication are basic expectations, especially when candidates are asked to invest so much time and energy. I have now reached out to 3 individuals who I met as part of the process, and not one has had the courtesy to respond. Scrappy nature or not, it's not hard to reply to say either no, or hold fire while we go through change / decisions / another excuse. From screener to this review, it's been nearly 8 weeks, and the last 3 with no responses or professionalism to respond. One of the questions below says did you get an offer? I said No as I have never heard back.

      Expertise around Team Leadership, upskilling of teams, lots around commercial and working with commercial briefs and budgets, experience in start up and hands on environments. Lots of talk about how I had supported Content teams, finance, legal and delivery of content / projects.
