The position as a Young Member Trustee was advertised on the IMechE website and the written application was judged along with the confirmation letters to the references. The Trustee panel board and CEO elected me after an interview and then final assessment was to attend a 2 day conference by delivering my ideas to further develop the business of Support Network at IMechE.
