      Interviewed via Zoom – 1 round, Caliper assessment post-interview My experience interviewing with this company was disappointing, disorganized, and ultimately a poor reflection of what one might expect from an employer that values professionalism. The first and only interview was a 90-minute Zoom call with both an AVP and VP. While I appreciated their time, it quickly became clear this was not a standard first round interview, but rather a final round disguised as an initial screen. The interview was an exhaustive deep dive into every position on my resume, discussing responsibilities and transitions in granular detail. This went far beyond the usual "walk me through your resume" and felt more like an intensive audit. Roughly 30 minutes were spent by one interviewer walking through the company’s history. This could have easily been condensed or shared ahead of time. After the interview, I was asked to complete a Caliper Assessment (90 minutes) on my own time. This assessment felt disconnected from the actual role and would have made far more sense to administer before such a time-intensive interview. Following the interview and assessment, I received what can only be described as a "pre-offer" call. A recruiter spent 45 minutes walking me through compensation, benefits, schedules, and what the next steps would look like. I was told to expect something by end of day or, at the latest, early the next week. After this was complete silence. I followed up after the stated timeline and was told the team was still “working on it.” Another week passed. I followed up again via email — no response. I called and left a message — no response. Eventually, 24 hours after my phone call, I received a generic rejection email via Workday, with no personal outreach or explanation. It remains unclear whether the recruiter jumped the gun on the offer discussion, the role was pulled, or the internal coordination simply broke down, but the experience left me questioning the company’s communication standards and overall professionalism. They didn’t just fail to meet expectations, they sent them a rejection email, too. Tl;dr - The process was overly time consuming, misaligned in structure, and poorly handled in follow up. Candidates deserve clarity, timely communication, and respect for their time none of which were consistently demonstrated here.
