Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 2 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en Pfizer (New York, NY) en sep 2019
Entrevista
It was unbelievably bad. Pfizer isn't the same company as it was before. They called me in and did not have interview room booked. I kept walking around while she finds a free room. I travelled from philadelphia to NYC for this interview. Then she found a room and left, came back and said first interviewer is missing and will only speak to you over phone.
Spoke with him and a couple of other guys. Hiring manager was missing for 2 hours. When he showed up, I asked if he wants to spend some time talking with me and he said that is not needed...my head started spinning and I knew that they already have someone in mind.
I stil kept playing since I love the company. I left the place and came back to Philadepphia and did not hear for 3 weeks, then I followed up and they said we want you to come back and present on a case study.
Interview setup this time was an interview with VP and then presentation. So, I prepare for an entire weekend and travel back to NYC.
I reach their and they station me in a conference room and everyone disappears, I come close to time for interview with VP and there is no one around. Sent an email to hiring manager and no response. So I go out and find the admin, who goes and talks to VP and comes back and says that actually VP will not speak with you...there will only be a presentation :)
I give the presentation and leave the place. They told me that they will make a decision in 2 days.
Again did not hear for two weeks so I sent a very nice email to hiring manager asking if they have made a decision and if there is any feedback for me.
2 days pass by and hiring manager did not even bother to respond to back to my email. he decided to go to workday and send me an automated email. No communication from HR either.
This is when you are hiring for a director role.
They did everything they could to send a message that we have a horrible culture, we do not care about talent and we have no value for your time.....
Would love to see how they stay competitive in this world where talent attraction is a must for winning in the business.

Tell me one question that you hope I would not ask you...
Structured interviews with multiple rounds. There were several weeks between phases which meant the timelines were delayed way past the target hire date for the role. Required proactive communication with the HR/ Talent point of contact.
Structured and tough. Series of questions that align to company values with multiple panel interviews. Can be long and competitive process. Typically 3 rounds of panel interviews. Also be proficient at your elevator pitch.
