I was contacted by Peterson Technology Partners (PTP) through LinkedIn for an SDET (Automation Tester) opportunity. I had not applied directly. They reached out to me, and after reviewing the role, I agreed to move forward with the process. The initial interactions were smooth and professional. I had a technical interview where I felt I performed well. After the interview, the recruiter shared very positive feedback, mentioning that the interviewer was "quite impressed." This made me believe I was being seriously considered for the position. Unfortunately, after this feedback, communication stopped. I followed up politely a few times over the following weeks but never received any updates. There was no message confirming whether the process had been closed or if they had chosen another candidate. I understand that hiring decisions can change or take longer than expected. However, when a company reaches out directly to a candidate, the minimum expectation is clear communication and closure.
