I didn't make it past the application. This is to warn others of the shady employment practices I experienced. Ran away rather quickly. Strike one, requiring a ssn for the application. Very shady, Petsmart. Strike two was the implication of an arbitration agreement when Petsmart is known to seek legal action against many, including past employees. The final strike was an improper "non-compete" agreement which stated it would still hold true "post employment" This means that if you decide to open your own store one day, they intend to take you to court and shut down your hopes and dreams. However, if you have a problem, you can't take them to court because you signed an arbitration agreement and signed off your right to sue. I will take my 10 years animal handling and retail experience elsewhere.
