My interview process with Personio was absolutely refreshing. Every single person I met throughout it was kind and supportive. The Talent Acquisition person helped me schedule our calls so they wouldn't clash with my upcoming holidays at the time. I had a call with an Engineering Manager that didn't feel like an interview at all, more like a casual (but serious) chat about work. There was a take-home challenge with detailed expectations on what the solution should look and work like. I felt it was an appropriate project for the position I applied to. After that, I got to chat with a couple other Engineers who had already taken a look at the challenge solution I submitted. Here, I had to go over the approach taken and some of the technical decisions I made, as well as answer any other questions they had. Finally, there was a culture fit interview with the VP of Engineering, which again felt more like a conversation than an interview.
