The interview process with the contracted recruiter was quick. 30 mins of questions about your skills, background etc. They give you a take home assignment before meeting the hiring manager. I have the same interview experience as the rest of the candidates. The assignment requires you to document the San Francisco City permitting process. San Francisco is an old and big city. They change their regulations often. The assignment takes at least a week and we were give 4 days. The recruiter did not even clarify how long I had to do the assignment. I had to ask. She said 4 days and not 4 business days. It is clear that this company is disorganized based on the broken interview process. They make you do these tedious lengthy assignments and do not even care to give you any feedback on them. It speaks volumes about the culture here and I luckily dodged a bullet.
