Extensive interview process. Alot of opportunity to speak to multiple members of the team and get a real sense of the patterns/processes/challenges before joining. Each stage was unique and seemed reasonable/ubderstandable as to the purpose it served for both sides. Interviewers were friendly and supportive throughout.

Multiple Stages: - 15 minute call with Recruiter - 30 minute call with Manager - 1 hour call with Manager - Take-Home Technical Assessment - Technical Assessment Presentation & System Design Call with Manager + 2 engineers. ** could be more stages afterwards ** Pros: - People seem nice enough Cons: - Process is long. - Not all stages listed what the topic of discussion would be. - Some feedback was very picky, in my opinion. In my scenario, I was penalised for giving answers based on my previous experience; rather than tackling the solutions in-real-time however it wasn't suggested that that is what they were looking for. I was also penalised for not remembering details of the assessment I had submitted one week prior; which I feel is harsh considering I interviewed during my work time so would be context switching.
