Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 2 días. Acudí a una entrevista en Percolate (San Francisco, CA)
Entrevista
I interviewed with Percolate for Backend role in their San Francisco office. I met with the hiring manager briefly and after quick discussion I was asked to work on a coding assignment at home in python. The question was pretty interesting and it was more than just a puzzle. I also needed to submit unit tests along with the code to ensure that the submission can handle all sort of positive and negative inputs.
After I submitted the code I was asked to come over for the on-site interview. The on-site interview was mostly technical. There were two rounds where I was asked to write the pseudo code on the whiteboard and the other two sessions was related to my previous experiences and general system design.
The whiteboard questions were relatively simple but I failed to understand one of the questions so i stumbled a bit on the question. The interviewers were helpful in answering any question I had.
Overall the interview process was very well organized and each interviewer asked different questions and they made me feel very welcome and comfortable throughout the process.
I was rushing through answers and I was not always able to communicate the idea and solution as effectively as I wanted to.
The hiring manager sent me an email the next day letting me know that the team decided not to . move forward.
