Pep Boys only accepts online employment applications, and therefore I had no way of following up with the process of consideration for employment. But after three weeks, I was contacted to set up a first interview in person at the store location. The interview lasted approximately 30 minutes, and resulted in getting a second interview. This second one was with upper management who are generally not available for local interviews in person, so it was a phone interview. It too lasted approximately 30 min and resulted in a third interview over the phone. This was the the final interview before a decision was made.

The worst - most drawn out process of unengaged interviews. You meet with your "direct supervisor" but then interview with HR, LP, your bosses boss and then they make an offer contingent on background and drug test. After this process you wonder how they keep anyone.
