I set up the 1st interview with a recruiter within a couple days of Peek getting in touch with me. I have done my fair share of interviews, but this was the worst I have ever experienced. The recruiter came off as if she didn’t care to talk to me, she seemed uninterested in anything I said and would just respond with the most monotone quick responses. The worst part was the interview only lasted 7 minutes! She asked a few questions and didn’t engage with me making things awkward at times. I am a people person and can easily break the ice in most situations, but this just left a bad taste in my mouth. Once the phone interview was over, I knew I did not want to work here. First impressions matter and from my perspective, this company doesn’t care about getting to know the people they are trying to hire.

This interview process was quick and painless. I interviewed three different times with different people. They were quick to get back to me all three times about the next step. They really tried to get a sense of who you are as a person and if you would fit well with the team and company, rather than asking the generic interview questions.
