I applied online and after about a week I received an email stating I would be contacted by a recruiter for a phone interview. The recruiter then emailed me a day later and set up a date and time they would call me. On the day of the interview I waited for the call, but no call ever came. After an hour past my interview time I emailed the recruiter and asked if they needed to reschedule or if they had forgotten my interview. After a couple more hours passed I emailed the recruiter again and asked if they would like to try another day or if they had filled the role already. The next day I received a horrendous email from a person at the company stating essentially I was rude for even bothering the recruiter and that the recruiter just got busy and was unable to call me. When I inquired as to why the recruiter could not just email me to let me know that they got busy, I was met with a response that stated basically I was ridiculous to ask that and I had no idea how busy their recruiters were. I was then told they no longer wanted to talk to me about the position. An eye-opening experience for sure. I was appalled by the treatment I received from everyone at this company and shocked that I was met with such disregard for simply asking why my interview was not completed on the date/time it was scheduled.
