I was invited for an interview for this 6-month contract through an agency. I was advised it was going to be a competency-based interview with one person - it turned out that two people were present and that the interview was more of a conversation. Upon completing a 20 minute proofreading test I was told that they'd get back in touch within one week. I ended up having to chase the agency 4 times and after more than a month still no feedback. A head of talent acquisition got in touch after two weeks and said the final decision would be made the same day he emailed - when I chased him a week later, I received an email saying his account has been disabled. Very poor recruitment process.
