      Entrevista

      Bland HR interview with no tech specs. Interviewed for music industry specific software support; they wanted someone with a full music degree. Interview was more focussed on cookie-cutter HR questions about employment gaps and didn't seem interested in transferable skills in music tech and fairly pro level audio engineering skills. I got the sense the interviewer didn't know enough about audio engineering and music production to even assess what I was bringing to the table. Seemed like an outsourced HR person, called from out of state number. They were also 15 minutes late. I was honestly not impressed with their product based on bad user reviews. They're managed by a fitness tech company, and it shows in their product. I was a lot less interested in their gym benefits and wanted to talk a lot more about where they're going in the future in competing with things Apple is bringing to the table. I don't see how they're keeping up with the app market; one of my software tools can do 20x what theirs does for $100 less and 50 times less hassle. It's also concerning that they're looking for a unicorn level of music tech and performance skills, and coming at it from a bland app market perspective. Demanding 20 years experience in the form of a music performance degree for an hourly job, then being pissy over an employment gap and retail side hours was honestly a little galling.
