For a first interview (no recruiter call on the opp), this was focused on minute details from three very different areas of the ML ecosystem (advanced stats, spark, search trees). Was not expecting this level of detail prior to the coding interview. The interviewer was rather cold during the interview and not direct when answering my response questions about getting to know more about the company.

second round is a technical screen coding problem

First round home assignment , next in person interview based on resume. Questions based on pipelines , kafka. Final technical round which was expected to be based on data structures and algos but was similar on the lines of the assignment (based on spark sql)
