      Entrevista

Steps: - Initial intro via internal recruiter invite to an online job fair. - Job fair: quick intro/basic screen. - More detailed screen with engineering recruiter. - Interview with specific department manager. (I was out at this point). - 45m coding/culture fit/peers - 60m arch & sys design (API first, platform friendly) - 45m Scott (assoc. director) - 30m Product/stakeholder Scheduling was slow and drawn out, a week or more between each. Had I gone the distance it would have been 8-10 weeks, 6 if they got their scheduling together. They were still re-organizing their title structure when I interviewed, so there seemed to be some drift in the expectations for the role between the recruiters and the manager. I think I lost it when asking questions about the role and getting corrections from the manager about the kinds of things I would be working on and how the role relates to peers. I did get a "no" about two weeks after the last interview, better than being ghosted.

      - don't bother if you don't have C# / .NET background . They have a misleading role description stating .NET experience is preferred, but not a strict requirement if the candidate can pick it up quickly. I was mislead by it. - 1st round is screening video call with their recruiter, followed by an email with technical questions you are supposed to answer. - 2nd round is technical, no coding, API design/system design with 2 interviewers, 1.5 hours, only 5 minutes for candidate's questions which is disrespectful. Interviewer doesn't share a notepad/drawing tool, you are supposed to use your own tools. Not informed about this in advance, had to search for suitable tools during interview, losing time. Requirements pasted through Teams chat. Interviewers don't get the technical support they typically get at other companies. - 3rd round is technical, coding round in C#, 1.5 hours with 2 interviewers, again 5 minutes for candidate's questions. I skipped this one as nobody bothered to inform me in advance C# is essential for interview, only got informed like 3h before the round which is too late. I wouldn't have applied at all. It's fine if C# is essential but they should be more transparent with candidates. Microsoft is much more fair and does interview in any language. - if you manage to pass their interview process I would highly recommend asking for an extra round for you to ask questions as alloting so little time for candidate's questions is highly suspicious
