Had the first interview with an HR recruiter. 2nd interview with the hiring manager. The recruiter I had was good, he even wanted to follow up after the 2nd interview, which felt like he wanted me to succeed. Final interview was a panel session, 4 hours. It wasn't easy but it did feel worthwhile. People that I interacted with were nice and personable, a good experience. Honestly the experience I had was positive until after the final interview. I was told someone would follow up in 2 days, no one did. I waited until day 4 to send out an email. My recruiter though went on leave beforehand, which they did tell me, but didn't tell me who would follow up with me instead. Tried his inbox but nothing. So I reached out to another person I had contact info for the following day. They relayed me to the person who would handle me. Then within about 10 minutes of that email I received an automated message of rejection essentially. I tried following up with the person in terms of just getting feedback on my interviews but they never responded. Considering how much time and energy I put forth (6 hours) I was hoping to get communication from an actual person, and some actual feedback, just a sentence or 2. Guess that's not what the workflow is here.
