Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó más de 1 semana. Acudí a una entrevista en Payless ShoeSource (Shawnee, OK) en dic 2012
Entrevista
I was approached by a recruiter (DM) at my, then, current job. She was impressed by my customer service skills and was looking to fill the position of General Manager at my local branch.
I told her I would be interested to hear more (but was not sold on it- I liked my current position). We set up a phone interview so that we could talk more. After the phone interview, she asked me to submit my application online. Their online application center was a mess to get through (I hope they have fixed that). After that, I met the DM in person over coffee at which point, I provided my resume to her. A job offer was made and after a few days of thought, I accepted.

I am sorry, I don't remember any specific questions....I do remember that many of them had to do w/ balancing the demands of the work load. i.e. How would you prioritize a.b.c. , etc.

My interview took 2 hours. I asked a lot of questions and answered a lot of questions . I also did roll play and sold a pair of shoes to the interviewer.

must apply online, if manager thinks your hours will work with their schedule they will call you and set up an interview. Usually a second interview is needed before hiring

Hiring process is pretty easy. You get called in for an interview with store manager, if you are a good potential you get scheduled for a 2nd interview. The most successful candidate is called back and an offer is made.
