I was scouted for an interview, to which I accepted and it was a very strange experience. The manager was nice, but then towards the end of the interview process it got weird. I was trained on a "presentation" that I was asked to prepare for at the end stage of the interview process with a regional manager. The presentation was scheduled 7 days out. On day 1 out of 7, at 8pm at night, I received a text to come in the following morning to give that final presentation. I made it to the presentation, to where the regional said there would be no presentation. I was a little thrown off. A few questions into the interview, she told me (in a negative manner) that I "seem like the type of person that wants to know everything before going into a situation." I found it odd that after just 3 minutes into the interview, she would attempt to make a negative assumption about me. (also I don't think wanting to be prepared is something to be negative about) Then, I receive a call that a position was offered to a male. I am not one to make a fuss of female vs male in the office, but it was weird how they expressed how it was a male. Looking back on the situation, I feel as if I was interviewed to meet of quota female interviews for the position.
