      Pregunta 1

.Panel Interview Questions: CONDUCTED W/ 3 STAFF & CANDIDATE We’re a relationship-based agency and strive to provide meaningful connection and support to the youth and families we serve. What is your approach to building “healthy working relationships” with both coworkers and those you serve? We value compassionate motivated people who are seeking to engage in this type of self-driven work lifestyle with passion and integrity. Reflecting on your own life and experiences, please tell us about how these values relate to you being interested in this position? What is your understanding of Oregon’s Foster Care System? How do you foresee yourself working to empower youth and families involved in this historically oppressive system? Our agency is always working to become more trauma-informed. What is your understanding of trauma and how a person’s past experiences might influence their behaviors or actions? Describe how this might inform the services you provide. Healthy boundaries are important when working with our current population. Please explain what “healthy boundaries” mean to you and how you have demonstrated these in the past. Tell us about a time when you worked with a person or family with a different background or culture than yours. What did you do to ensure that you were inclusive of their identity and demonstrated equity during your working relationship? Please tell us about a time that you supported a youth or adult in a time of crisis. Cuéntanos sobre alguna ocasión donde has apoyado a un joven o un adulto en un momento de crisis. (ES-SPANISH) As a CSS, you will be asked to provide timely and detailed documentation weekly and that is often used as discovery in court proceedings in Child Welfare cases. Please speak to your experience in providing timely and detailed documentation. What is your experience working with families who might have lifestyles or values that are offensive to you? (child sex offender, white supremacist, domestic abuser etc.) How did you navigate working with these individuals or families? At this point, is there anything else you’d like to share with us about yourself and this position we haven't specifically asked you during this process? (Preferred starting dates, relocations, life experiences, specific skills/attributes, other applicable licenses/credentials/languages) Do you have any questions for us?
