Me postulé a través de una recomendación de un empleado. El proceso tomó más de 1 semana. Acudí a una entrevista en Panda Express (Houston, TX) en sep 2011
Entrevista
Basic behavioral/skills interview questions. They will also probe on all of your answers to see if there is any depth to you. It is actually extremely uncomfortable interview as if you're talking to a bunch of robots. Stiff! They had me look at how the employees were working and provide feedback. Although I didn't have to go to a second interview, it is now required. Also, make sure you have at least some knowledge about the company such as, its early beginnings, where/year the first restaurant opened, mission, values, Panda Cares all which can be found on the Panda Express website. For counter help or cooks, if you tell them that the reason you were interested in working there is because you like the food, make sure you know what item (by name) you like, since they will use that as proof of your "attention to detail". I've actually seen many potential employees rejected for saying how much they like the shrimp fried rice, and General Tso's Chicken, which we don't have. They want "leaders" even for the lower positions.

Asked me to provide feedback to associates, even though I was just going for a counter help position.

It was very easy, just answer honestly since they are hiring they want to hire anyone that shows they will be a good employee. Don't try to move up in management, unless you want to stay with the company for 5+ years, they will make you bend over backwards for them.

It was an average interview about 15 minutes long. Not too critical, but they ask a good questions. I had a second interview with the district manager, and she was very nice.
