Contacted recruiter, had a screening call, then interviewed with Mission Operations team. Interviewers browsed through resume and were looking for specific skills like experience in go and java development. This was not clear until the interview with the team. Looking through the team members profiles on Linkedin and reading about their blog posts gave some useful insight as to what skills are desirable.

Applied for a different job. Contacted by a recruiter through email stating my resume fit a different role they had available. Moved forward with second option. First interview was a 45 minute screening to verify that I was a good fit and that I had interest in the role and interviewer stated that past experience with Java or Python would not be necessary for position. However, the second interviewer stated these were platforms that they wanted candidates to have prior experience with, including Linux.
