The recruitment process felt unnecessarily overcomplicated and lacked professionalism at multiple stages.
The initial HR interaction was disorganized. I received one call to schedule the interview, followed by another separate call after 10 mins for screening questions.
The in-person interview was particularly concerning. The CEO appeared unclear about the role and did not seem familiar with the job description. Throughout the interview, there were frequent interruptions, which made it difficult to provide complete answers and created an unproductive dialogue.
At the end of the interview, when I asked questions about the company, the responses were vague and redirected back to me, including comments like “that’s what the company is about,” which did not provide any meaningful insight.
The experience suggested a lack of alignment, preparation, and professionalism in the hiring process.
