      Entrevista

      I was contacted by a specialist recruitment company by e-mail, where I was asked if I was interested in the role of Pre-Sales Engineer with a Pre-IPO Enterprise Incident Resolution Service. The role matched my skills and experience and I responded with my CV and covering letter. After just over week, I received an initial screening call where we discussed my profile, why I was interested and I was given more details of the role. I was told that I was being put forward for the role and that the company was Pagerduty. Unfortunately, I was then on holiday for a week with limited mobile phone access. However, the specialist recruitment company managed to track me down and scheduled 2 Video over IP interviews (using Google Hangout). The first interview took place on the first evening after I returned from leave with Pagerduty’s Director of Sales Engineering. The second interview took place the following evening with a member of Pagerduty’s Pre-Sales team. The following day, my contact at the specialist recruitment company called to say that my most recent experience was not relevant for the role and my application was not being taken any further.
